I know I've seen/received large files via some website where you can upload a file too large to email, and send the link and then the other person is able to download that file from the site. Anyone have an idea as to what any of such websites are?

I used this site: http://www.4shared.com/

I've successfully used Megaupload.com, Mediafire.com, and Sendspace.com. There's also Rapidshare.com, Filefactory.com, etc. I've never tried uploading to those, but I know you can. I like Mediafire best.

Another option if you prefer to stick to e-mail is use something like g-mail where the attachment limit is 20MB and then use a compression program, like 7zip (which is free, and a great program), to split the file across multiple 20MB sized archives and then send each separately.

You could get DropBox, which is a nifty and highly useful program one of whose side benefits is the ability to make any file that fits in your (2 GB) storage space downloadable.
