Day one of classes went well. Today is more of the same: exactly, pretty much: It's the exact same schedule of classes. The only difference: minyan this morning. So I went to bed early-ish (well, not really, but I meant to), got up early, decided it was too cold to shower then, got ready for minyan and did some more of my reading. After minyan (at which time I turned over my keys to Raphi, but was somewhat more cheered to do so than I thought, as he was there before me: double set of cheers for Raphi: I'm beginning to feel better about this semester minyan-wise) I finished my reading for this afternoon, showered, and napped (nap number one of the day. I think I'll take another short of mid-afternoon. But we'll see how tired I am.)

Last night I spent some time talking with folks, including Nathan. After the recent set of rather unhappy emails, having a calm conversation was rather soothing. Off to class momentarily, so more thoughts later

So, on impulse, I checked my gustbook on my website, and there were these two entriest from "Mystery Man", claiming to be the person who knows me best. Now- unless that's either Will or my Dad (and the phrasing didn't sound like Dad)- I really don't get it. It's almost rather insulting, really. At the very least, bewildering.

Class today was great. I'm getting good feelings abotu both these classes, although both will be good, solid work. But the Ritual class is still very small, which I'll enjoy.

Outside of that, this evening I dinnered with Orin (you can say lunched, so why does dinnered sound stupid? I don't think it's a verb. Whereas in Arabic, the verbs made from the same roots as the nouns for morning, afternoon and evening all mean "to become". Strange.), ran an errand or two, and helped
