I acquired a cold while at Brandeis for Rosh HaShanah, and it is turning out to be quite the roller-coaster ride of an ailment, and not at all (as my colds rarely are) the theoretical standards of "three days coming, three days staying, three days going". Instead I had a day of very mild symptoms, then a day of really intense stuffiness and nose blowing and difficulty breathing because of all of that, and now a day of some coughing, still a good amount of nose blowing but easier breathing, and now a lost voice starting partway through Talmud today. Grrr.
But at least I'm feeling more human than yesterday, just very quiet- and frustrated as heck. Hopefully I'll recover some by Shabbos- for now at least the computer gives me an outlet (also because I had been supposed to lead P'sukei D'Zimra Saturday morning...). So, if you want to reach me and were thinking of phoning- write instead.
